General information

Job shadowing is a prerequisite for application to the sonography program.

Applicants must have a minimum of 8 hours of job-shadowing experience.  This is beneficial in order to acquaint candidates with the demands of the profession.

  • Shadow candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Shadow experiences are typically scheduled a minimum of 4 hours at a time, Monday through Friday.

Interested candidates should contact the sonography department at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center at (414) 649-6131 to schedule the shadow experience.
