Pleasant Prairie, Wis. – The new Aurora Health Center Pleasant Prairie has opened today, increasing area residents’ access to health care and specialized medical services. Located just west of I-94 at the northwest corner of Hwy. 165 and 120th Avenue, the center will deliver new and expanded health care services to adults and children in Racine, Kenosha and Lake counties.
Beginning with the facility opening today, the Aurora Health Center Pleasant Prairie will offer general surgery, orthopedics and urology, and will bring new specialty pediatric services through Aurora Children’s Health. It will be home to Aurora Sports Health, including a one-of-a-kind outdoor physical therapy area, Men's Health Center and Women's Breast Imaging Center, and will have onsite pharmacy services, lab and a café.
“The new and expanded services at this location will enhance patient access for the growing number of residents and employers in this region,” said Lisa Just, president, Advocate Aurora Health, East Corridor patient service area. “We’re excited to be opening our facility to professional medical services, focused on bringing safe, best-in-class care close to home.”
As patients seek to return to medical settings for preventive care and other visits, the Advocate Aurora Safe Care Promise ensures that patients receive the care they need safely at all Advocate Aurora facilities. Aurora Health Center Pleasant Prairie is equipped with an innovative, self-rooming check-in model, allowing patients to bypass the waiting room and go to their assigned private room where their provider will meet them. This new self-rooming model decreases patient exposure to illness while increasing privacy. Other safety measures include:
- Virtual check-in through the Advocate Aurora LiveWell app for seamless, low contact arrival.
- Everyone goes through a COVID-19 screening before entering this location.
- Anyone who enters the facility must wear a mask. If a person does not have a mask, one will be provided.
- Staggered appointment times reduce traffic, minimize social contact and create safe spaces for all.
This campus features a $130 million, 100,000-square-foot medical office building and 100,000-square-foot surgery center that will open at a later date.
Services include:
