Milwaukee, WI – Titus J Muzi Jr. has joined Aurora Health Care as new senior vice president of managed care contracting.
In this new role, Muzi will provide strategic direction and leadership for Aurora's relationships with payers and will negotiate managed care contracts. Muzi also will work with Aurora Accountable Care Network leaders as Aurora participates in new products in the new federal health insurance exchange in Wisconsin.
Titus has more than 20 years of experience in health care and business strategy, operations, finance, and medical cost and network management. Most recently he was regional vice president for provider engagement at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Waukesha, Wis.
There he managed a team focused on developing and maintaining a consistent, high-quality, cost-effective provider network that provided comprehensive access for members. Past leadership positions at Humana, Inc., and United Healthcare of Wisconsin also contributes to his strong background in leveraging strategic health services network initiatives. Titus holds a master's degree in health care fiscal management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
