The vaccinations we offer include:
- COVID
- Influenza (flu)

With locations across Wisconsin, we can usually get you in quickly – sometimes on the same day. Find your pharmacy to ask about vaccine availability and schedule an appointment.
How can I get help understanding my medications?
Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident in your treatment plan. We’re happy to provide medication counseling related to your condition, prescriptions and regimens.
Comprehensive education
When you have questions about your condition or treatment plan, our expert pharmacists can offer information and recommend resources that may benefit you. Specific health needs could include:
- Regimens after organ transplant: Part of your lifelong commitment to caring for your new organ includes daily medications to prevent rejection and other complications.
- Management of diabetes: If you have diabetes, your pharmacist can teach you how to use your diabetic needles and monitor your blood sugar levels throughout the day.
- Prevention of prescription drug abuse: Opioid medication offers pain relief for many conditions, and we’ll help you learn how to properly take your medication to lower your addiction risk.
To help you take care of your health at home, we also offer medication pill boxes and other educational materials. Find your pharmacy and call to ask about education and home health management.
Comprehensive medication review
If you’re taking multiple medications or want to better understand your medications, a comprehensive medication review (CMR) session may be able to help. CMR may be included as a benefit of your insurance coverage. These one-on-one consultations are typically 15-45 minutes. CMR is about making your medication regimen easier, and you may benefit if you:
- Have more than one chronic condition
- Want to know how your medications work and why you take them
- Have concerns about drug side effects, even with over-the-counter medications and supplements
- Want to lower your medication costs
Find your pharmacy and call to schedule a CMR if it’s included in your insurance plan.
Safe and responsible medication resources
Prescription medications, supplies and equipment should be handled with care to prevent accidents, injury, addiction or death. Aurora Pharmacy recommends these resources to keep you and your loved ones safe.
Medication disposal and take-back
All Aurora Health Care hospitals have medication drop boxes to accept your unwanted prescription painkillers and other drugs. The Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Dose of Reality also has information about drug take-back events and medication drop box locations.
Over-the-counter medications can be responsibly disposed of by taking them out of their original packaging and throwing them away. You can also mix drugs with undesirable substances such as used cat litter or coffee grounds. And unless instructed by your doctor or pharmacists, don’t flush unused medication down sinks, toilets or drains.
Free sharps disposal
If you use diabetic supplies or injectable medications, you can bring your filled red sharps container to your preferred Aurora Pharmacy so we can dispose of them safely. Sharps containers are also available for purchase at all locations.
Before disposal of your sharps container, keep in mind that it should be at or slightly below the “full” line (about 75% full), securely snapped closed and handed to your pharmacist personally – please don’t place your used sharps container on the pharmacy counter.
Naloxone nasal spray (Narcan)
Every Aurora Pharmacy location can provide antiopioid medications, such as naloxone (also known as Narcan or Evzio). If you or a family member are prescribed an opioid painkiller, it’s important to keep this medication on hand in the event of opioid overdose.
For those struggling with opioid dependency, we offer help through Aurora’s Opiate Recovery Program.
Living with mental health or substance abuse problems
Aurora Pharmacy is proud to help people with mental health or substance abuse issues get the compassionate care they need. As part of your treatment plan, we’ll help you learn about your medications, stick to your treatment schedule, answer your insurance questions and check to see if your medications are covered by your insurance. Specialized care for your individual needs
At Aurora Pharmacy, we’ve found unique ways to offer a personalized experience to our patients. These are just some of the ways we continue to uphold a legacy of dedicated service.
Therapeutic footwear
Select pharmacy locations carry therapeutic footwear to help relieve pain caused by arthritis, edema (swelling), neuropathy (nerve damage and pain) and circulation issues. Some diabetic shoes can help prevent complications of diabetes while others maximize comfort for people who are on their feet all day. Ask your pharmacist which pharmacies have these therapeutic products.
Hospital bedside prescription delivery
With this prescription delivery, you’ll get your medications at your bedside before you leave the hospital. If you prefer, you or a family member may also pick up your prescriptions on your way home. For your convenience, pharmacy locations are in most Aurora Health Care hospitals.
Language assistance
An interpreter is available to Aurora Pharmacy patients. Just ask and one will be provided at no cost to you. Learn more about language assistance services.
