Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship rotations

The majority of the Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship clinical rotations occur in and around greater Milwaukee, including at our flagship Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center.

Our fellows participate in all cases, including open, laparoscopic and robotic approaches as well as microwave and radiofrequency ablations, hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) and IRE (Nano knife).

Fellows also rotate through medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical pathology and gynecologic oncology. Other rotations may include:

  • Thoracic oncology
  • Head and neck oncology
  • Endocrine surgery
  • Breast surgery
  • Orthopedic oncology
  • Urologic oncology
  • Transplant

Clinical, translational and laboratory research is encouraged and facilitated.

Electives

Potential elective rotations include:

  • Interventional radiology
  • Interventional GI
  • Urologic oncology
  • Palliative care
  • Research
  • Repeat of any dedicated rotation
