Apply through ERAS
We offer three positions per academic year and process all applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Completion or anticipated completion of an accredited internal medicine or emergency medicine residency
- Completion of USMLE l, ll/CK, ll/CS and lll or COMLEX l,ll,lll
- Submission of three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from your current or prior residency and (where relevant) fellowship program director.
We do not offer one-year positions for applicants who have completed an IM-accredited fellowship, and we do not accept applicants requiring J-1 or H-1b visa sponsorship.
Interview preference criteria
The recruitment committee prioritizes applicants who meet the following minimum criteria:
- IM or EM board eligibility or certification
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Have in-training and/or post-graduate experiences that demonstrate exposure to and serious interest in critical care medicine. Some examples include critical care research, QI, or scholarship, ICU-focused clinical rotations or work experience, and active participation in relevant professional societies.
