Aurora’s four-year OB/GYN Residency program provides academic and clinical education to help residents develop the skills needed to become quality practitioners.

Resident rotations include general obstetrics and gynecology, as well as subspecialties like reproductive endocrinology and gynecological oncology. Didactic and training education includes numerous lecture series, ultrasound training and extensive simulation training in robotic and laparoscopic surgery, including:

  • LEEP/cone biopsy/electrosurgery
  • Operative delivery
  • Vaginal hysterectomy/vaginal morcellation
  • Ovarian cystectomy

Resident wellness is also a core part of our curriculum, providing mental and physical health support.

  • Providing four half-days per year for residents to attend personal appointments
  • Quarterly group counseling sessions for residents
  • Setting aside dedicated time in fall PGY1 for residents to establish care with a primary care provider
