Volunteering

Two residents at volunteer function

Each year our residents volunteer in the community, including at local schools and fairs. This year the calls-to-action came in and many residents stepped up to help during the pandemic.

Each year we have an all-residency retreat. Residents enjoy breakfast, bonding activities and time together. Fun activities have included escape rooms and cooking classes!

Conferences and meetings

Residents speaking with students

The Aurora Rural Family Residency has always participated in the AAFP National Conference in Kansas City, where we enjoy talking with students about our program. We also work closely with our rural community and attend many meetings, events and activities.
