Drug-free workplace and Criminal Background Checks

To ensure high-quality patient care and service levels within all our facilities, Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center supports a drug-free workplace through pre-employment drug testing. As part of the selection process, Aurora Health Care will drug test all applicants selected for the Radiologic Technology Program.

Satisfactory results must be obtained from the initial test or the offer will be withdrawn. Any student under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs, or who uses these substances while at school, will be terminated.

Fair employment

Aurora Health Care is committed to a policy of fair and equal employment opportunity for every person regardless of age, race, color, creed, religion, disability, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

As required by law, Aurora Health Care seeks to provide a work environment that is free from intimidation and harassment based on any of these characteristics. Aurora Health Care specifically prohibits such intimidation and harassment of any employee/student, patient, resident, client or guest.

Health

Students are responsible for their own medical/dental care during the program, and are encouraged to carry their own health insurance.

Housing

Each student is responsible for obtaining living quarters. A limited number of apartments may be available through the housing office of Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center.
