Help Yourself Heal: Centering & grounding

Do you practice meditation? If you don't, it's okay. Most people are afraid of the word meditation. They claim they cannot focus for even five minutes. So I'm going to teach you a technique that will introduce you very gradually to meditation. It's called centering and grounding.

Centering & grounding

You can do it for a very brief period of time, maybe even one minute, which we will practice together. Then to that very brief period of time, you can add half a minute or a minute every time you practice, so that you gradually incorporate it into your daily routine.

Each time you practice you can extend the time, or not. You could be extending one minute, half a minute up to five or ten minutes, and maybe next time you practice you may be back again to one minute – and that's okay. Do not get frustrated, because each time you practice will depend on what kind of day you've had.
