Contact usCurriculum overview
The School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography course of study is designed to provide instruction in general, cardiac and vascular sonography. Our program offers two distinct learning tracks: Abdominal Sonography Extended/Obstetrics and Gynecology and Vascular Technology and Adult Echocardiography and Vascular Technology. Curriculum consists of both academic and clinical components and is based on 21 months of full-time study.
The school prepares students for the challenging responsibilities of the profession while providing the opportunity to gain a working knowledge of the field. Students learn how to deal with the ever-increasing complexities of modern sonographic equipment and procedures while maintaining the best possible level of patient care.
