Education for EMS providers

Aurora North region EMS offers evidence-based, best-practice continuing education for all EMS providers, regardless of your system affiliation. Our presentations meet the requirements of Wisconsin Administrative Code Chapter DHS 110.

Upcoming quarterly events

Our evidence-based events and presentations reflect the most current practices and are offered in a variety of formats to meet your learning needs.

Professional presentations
Aurora North region EMS offers free quarterly professional presentations (generally held in February, May, September and November). Registration for these events opens approximately 6 weeks prior to the event.

To register, go to Aurora classes and events and enter “EMS” in the Keyword search field.

Onsite fire department training
Throughout the year, North region EMS hosts training at various fire departments throughout Brown, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Oconto, Outagamie and Winnebago counties. Contact a program coordinator for more information.

Clinical opportunities
We offer several clinical opportunities for both EMS students and practicing EMS providers. Opportunities are available in the emergency department, intensive care unit, surgery, labor and delivery and respiratory services. For more information, contact a program coordinator.
