The Aurora South Wisconsin EMS mission is to make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes by promoting exemplary, evidence-based emergency medical care. This team advocates for inclusive community health, bridges the relationship between hospital and pre-hospital teams, and equips the community with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to emergencies through innovative, comprehensive education programs.

Continuing medical education

Aurora South WI EMS continuing education helps you stay ahead of the curve. Our evidence-based, best-practice educational offerings meet the requirements of Wisconsin Administrative Code Chapter DHS 110 and are available to all EMS providers, regardless of system affiliation.

Medical direction

Led by Dr. Steven Andrews, Dr. Andrew Aswegan, and Dr. Donald Keen, our program provides medical direction for EMS agencies (both municipal and private-for-profit), law enforcement agencies, and Naloxone administration programs in Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties.
