Clinical Adjunct Professor of Medicine
Suhail Allaqaband, MD, is an internationally renowned interventional cardiologist who is highly respected by peers and students alike. As Director of Cardiovascular Interventions at Aurora Grafton Medical Center and Clinical Director of Aurora St. Luke’s Catherization Lab, he is well versed in even the most complex interventional procedures.
A Clinical Adjunct Professor of Medicine through the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Dr. Allaqaband takes great pride in passing his wealth of experience to the next generation of cardiologists.
In addition to his skills as a clinician and teacher, Dr. Allaqaband is a devoted researcher who serves as the Director of Clinical Cardiovascular Research for Aurora Cardiovascular Services. He is Principal Investigator on a slew of clinical trials, including studies evaluating left main stenting and bioabsorbable stents. More than 100 of his cutting-edge research manuscripts and abstracts have been published in premier cardiology journals like Circulation.
As evidence of his myriad contributions to the field, Dr. Allaqaband has achieved prestigious Fellow status in the American College of Cardiology, the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, and the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP), the latter of which also named him Vice Chair of the ACCP Cardiovascular Network. This level of expertise is much appreciated by his patients.

Tonga Nfor, MD
Associate Program Director
Dr. Tonga Nfor, MD, MSPH, FACC, FSCAI is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with expertise in advanced coronary interventions and endovascular treatments for peripheral arterial diseases. He is a Clinical Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine with University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, and is deeply committed to the education of medical students, residents and fellows.
He practices the full breadth of general cardiology, with a passion for bedside clinical critical thinking that he strives to pass on to trainees. He has authored several scientific papers and book chapters and presented at multiple national and international meetings.
Dr. Nfor mentors residents and fellows in research design, implementation, data analysis and writing. He pays particular emphasis with fellows on how to critically appraise and integrate medical literature into clinical practice.

Patrycja Galazka, MD
Associate Program Director
Dr. Galazka’s clinical interests include multi-modality cardiovascular imaging, preventive cardiology, and women’s cardiovascular health. She also has special interest in education. Dr. Galazka earned her medical degree at Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, Poland. She completed her residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill., Cardiovascular fellowships at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans and a 2 year Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston.
In addition, she finished a program in clinical effectiveness at the T.H. Chan Harvard School of Public Health. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and currently serves as an Associate Program Director for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Advocate Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Our faculty's collective years of experience and expertise have positively impacted our graduating fellows, many of whom now have active practices in the Milwaukee area.
Our physicians have served in a teaching capacity as full-time clinical faculty for years, and are strongly committed to teaching and training fellows.
