The Aurora Heart Failure & Transplant Fellowship is a one-year program. We select one new fellow each year. Training is based at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, which has a long tradition of excellence in the field of heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, mechanical circulatory support devices and cardiac transplantation.

We have the largest clinical population of heart failure and pulmonary hypertension patients in the state of Wisconsin, with the largest number of ongoing clinical trials in the region. We also have the largest transplant and VAD program in Wisconsin.

Aurora St. Luke's has been a Top 50 U.S. Hospital for the past several years, and remains ranked #1 in Wisconsin for cardiovascular care. Our facility offers state-of-the art cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology laboratories; echocardiography and advanced imaging technology; and scientific research, along with nationally and internationally recognized expertise in the management of high-risk patients and performance of complicated procedures.

The Heart Failure and Transplant Fellowship is a one-year, ACGME-accredited program that trains at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center. One new fellow is accepted to the program each year.
