Salary
Current Pharmacy Residency salaries are:
PGY1 (first-year resident): $60,320
PGY2 (second-year resident): $64,480
Salaries are reviewed and updated annually to remain competitive.
Health and wellness
You and your qualified dependents are eligible to participate in Aurora Health Care benefit programs. Benefits include:

- Medical and dental insurance
- Vision insurance
- Disability insurance
Residents are allowed up to 25 days off (including a maximum of six sick days and four holidays not staffed) during the program year. In addition, residents receive up to 5 additional days off to attend required conferences. Time off requires advanced approval and is not guaranteed.
Professional
We encourage the professional growth of our residents by emphasizing leadership and mentorship across all our programs.
Residents will receive opportunities to attend state and national conferences, with available travel assistance.
All residents receive a paid membership to the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW), Wisconsin’s state pharmacy professional organization.
Residents are expected to be members of ASHP (American Society of Health-System Pharmacists). This membership is not reimbursed.
