Get the help you need: support services

If you’re awaiting a transplant or recovering from transplant surgery, we’re here to support you.

We offer:

  • A transplant support group

If you or someone you love is waiting for a transplant or has already received one, the Transplant Clinic offers a support group where you can talk with others going through similar experiences.

  • Individual counseling

Need some emotional or social support? We’re here for you. In addition to the transplant nurse coordinator, our transplant social worker and staff psychologist or psychiatrist can provide counseling.

  • Donor awareness training

Want help sharing the importance of organ donation? We offer training to patients and family members interested in community service. Once you’re trained, you can take part in organ donor awareness projects at the Motor Vehicle Department, area churches and community organizations.

  • Classes and events

We offer a variety of classes and events that can help you on the road to better health and well-being.
