Sports injury diagnosis at Aurora
Using advanced imaging tools, we're able to better diagnosis and provide specialized care for sports injuries and conditions. Diagnostic testing includes:
- X-rays to get detailed images of your bones
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to visualize bones, muscles and connective tissues like tendons and ligaments
- Computerized tomography (CT) scan to get 3-D images of bones and soft tissues
- MRI arthrogram to help doctors visualize the joints using an MRI and an injection of contrast dye
