Having a baby is an exciting, joyful time. At the Women’s Health Department at Aurora Medical Center – Manitowoc County, our goal is to enhance that by providing you and your baby quality health care in a family-centered environment.

Pregnancy welcome visit

We’re with you every step of the way – starting as soon as you find out you’re expecting. Call to schedule your pregnancy welcome visit with one of our women’s health registered nurses – it’s a one-hour face-to-face appointment focused on you.

We’ll get you in within three business days of your call to answer your immediate questions and review your care choices – and we can help you schedule ongoing prenatal care, including:

• Prenatal testing
• Nutrition and exercise
• Developing a birthing plan
• Choosing a doctor for your new baby

Pregnancy care at every stage

Whether you’re newly expecting or as far as your third trimester, at the Women’s Health Department and OB/GYN clinic in Manitowoc County, we’re here to help with a variety of services, including:

• Pediatricians and OB/GYNs on call 24/7
• OB registered nurses with advanced training and expertise on call 24/7
• An Aurora maternal-fetal medicine specialist
• Anesthesia team on call 24/7
• C-section suite in our labor and delivery unit
• Seamless transfer to an Aurora Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in Green Bay if needed
