We provide rotations in Wisconsin in our north, south, and central regions that include: Oshkosh, Kewaunee, Sheboygan, Howards Grove, Fond Du Lac, Grafton, Oconomowoc (Summit), Waukesha, Wauwatosa, Hartford, Hartland, New Berlin, Oak Creek, West Allis, Milwaukee, Burlington, Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth.
During the remainder of the year, you will attend exams, skills sessions, education sessions and presentations. Our goal is to provide an experience that prepares you for the next step in your career and to continue your journey with us.
Core academic partners
Aurora has an established history with teaching hospitals and academic institutions. Our off-site hospitals and clinics proudly serve as clinical campuses for our core academic partners:
Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine
Application process
Aurora Health Care does not have a traditional application process for third-year students. Instead, application letters come from Des Moines University. This is a chance for you to write an autobiography about yourself and share a story about why you want to be at Aurora Health Care and become a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. This letter should highlight your family background, a personal experience or a life-changing situation.
Note: We do not allow for visiting 3rd year DO student rotations.
Student resources
Clinician Student Services is dedicated to making sure that students gaining clinical experiences at Aurora are valued, supported and given every opportunity for success. We offer health and wellbeing services, help with housing and ways to get involved in the community.
