The care you trust - now virtual

Ongoing care for all ages

With virtual primary care, you’ll get the same care as an in-person visit – just remotely. This includes sick visits, chronic condition management, care for common health concerns and more.

Flexible appointments

You can schedule visits with your virtual primary care provider when it's convenient for you – including early morning, late night and weekends – 7 days a week, for most health needs.

Board-certified providers

After your first visit, you’ll have an established Aurora Health Care virtual family medicine provider you can trust for your primary care needs, including coordinated access to in-person care, if needed.

What is virtual primary care?

With virtual primary care, you can maintain a relationship with a board-certified provider of your choice that you’ll always see virtually. Video visit appointments can be scheduled online, when and where it’s convenient for you. Appointments are available 7 days a week from 6 a.m.-11 p.m., including same-day options to see your provider or another virtual primary care provider.

Virtual primary care providers offer the same personalized care you'd expect from an in-person visit. Insurance is accepted, with no extra fees. And because your virtual primary care doctor is part of Aurora Health Care, you’ll have access to the most comprehensive health system in Wisconsin – with the added convenience of virtual care.

How do virtual primary care appointments work?

After you’ve selected your virtual primary care provider and made your first appointment, here’s what you can expect.

Before your visit

Since all visits are online via secure video connection, you can have your video visit where it works for you – as long as you’re in Wisconsin or Illinois. Simply log in to LiveWell by smartphone, tablet or computer a few minutes before your visit time.

During your visit

Each visit is tailored to your needs, whether you’re addressing a minor health concern or focusing on your wellness. Your provider may discuss how you're feeling, review lab results and virtually examine any symptoms. Have your insurance card and ID ready.

After your visit

Near the end of your visit, your provider will review any next steps in your care – including filling prescriptions and coordinating any follow-up visits, if needed. When you want to schedule a new video visit with your provider, simply log in to LiveWell.
