Telehealth visits
Your time. Your place.
When you’re not feeling well, sometimes you might be too sick to leave the house. Or maybe you need care after hours. At Aurora Health Care, we’re here to help you get care when and where you need it with our telehealth services.
Telehealth – sometimes called virtual visits – is another way you can see a provider and get care when and where you need it. Just hop on your mobile device or computer to receive a diagnosis and treatment plan. No need to drive to a clinic or your provider’s office.
We offer several telehealth options to meet your needs. With Quick Care Video Visits, you can hop on a video visit and see the next available provider to discuss your symptoms and treatment options. Or you can schedule a video visit with your own primary care provider during office hours. You can also use Symptom Checker to help you find the right type of visit based on your symptoms. Your options may include an e-visit, where you’ll fill out a questionnaire and get an email response from the next available provider within an hour – or your own primary care provider within 24 hours.
The biggest benefit of telehealth visits is you or child can get care without leaving home or sitting in a busy waiting room. Just answer a few questions about your symptoms, then get care from a provider at a time that’s convenient for you.
Telehealth services are available to almost everyone in your family. For kids younger than 2 years old, they still need to be seen by their own provider. Ask your child’s pediatrician about scheduling a video visit or an in-person appointment.
If you’re 18 or older and physically located in Illinois, Wisconsin or Michigan, you can request a video visit. You also can request video visits for kids ages 2-17 if you’re their legally authorized representative.
We take measures to protect your health information whether you seek virtual or in-person care. Video visits feature telehealth security measures to ensure only you and the provider have access to your visit. We also keep your personal information safe when you’re recommended an e-visit when using Symptom Checker.
Yes, you can. Contact your primary care provider if you think you’re experiencing COVID symptoms and ask if you can schedule a video visit. Another option is to start a Quick Care Video Visit with the next available provider. It’s your access for 24-hour care to discuss your symptoms and testing options.
If you’ve tested positive for COVID, you may be able to complete an e-visit questionnaire for treatment options. Symptom Checker can help you find the right type of visit for you.
