Our online virtual care providers are just a tap away from helping you feel better.

Get virtual care from anywhere

If you’re too sick to leave the house, you can get a diagnosis and treatment plan from just about anywhere with a telehealth visit.

You might be wondering: Who are the Aurora Health Care providers on the other side of the camera or computer and how can they help me? Here’s a look at what virtual care is all about and what services our providers offer.

Telehealth visit conditions and symptoms

You can get care for minor illnesses with your provider online or with our next available provider online.

An online doctor visit with your own provider is an option during office hours. You can call your doctor’s office and ask if a video visit is appropriate for your condition or the symptoms you’re experiencing.

If you need urgent care 24/7, consider a Quick Care Video Visit with the next available provider on our team. This type of virtual visit is an option for the types of conditions and symptoms you might usually visit an urgent care center for – everything from anxiety and depression to cold and flu symptoms and more. See the list of conditions and symptoms we diagnose and treat with Quick Care Video Visits.

And if you’re unsure which virtual visit is right for you, you can use Symptom Checker to help you find care based on your symptoms. Your options may include an e-visit, where you’ll fill out a questionnaire and get an email response from the next available provider within an hour. You can also submit your e-visit to your own primary care provider, who will respond within 24 hours.

How telehealth visits or online doctor visits work

Online doctor visits may be an option with your own provider. You’ll need to call the provider’s office and request a video visit. If they agree your condition can be managed virtually, then they’ll schedule an appointment just like an in-person visit.

For 24-hour urgent care with a Quick Care Video Visit, sign in to LiveWell to meet with the next available virtual care provider.

If you use Symptom Checker in LiveWell and an e-visit is the type of care you choose to get, you’ll answer a few questions about your symptoms. The next available telehealth provider (or, if you choose, your own primary care provider) uses this information to evaluate your condition. Then watch for a message with your diagnosis and treatment plan within one hour. Or submit your e-visit to your own primary care provider and get a response within 24 hours.

Learn about virtual care providers

During an online doctor visit with your provider, you’ll be treated by your provider or other members of your care team. Be sure to call your provider’s office first and schedule a virtual appointment. If you’re offered an e-visit after using Symptom Checker, you also have the option to submit it to your own primary care provider, who will respond within 24 hours.

For 24/7 urgent care, the next available virtual care provider on our team will diagnose and treat you when you request a Quick Care Video Visit or choose to complete an e-visit after using Symptom Checker.

Yes, they’ll be able to access your medical history right from your LiveWell account.

Whether you’re seeing an online doctor or a virtual care provider, you’ll need to answer a lot of questions about your symptoms. This will help the provider better understand your symptoms and health concerns so they can make a diagnosis and treatment plan that’s right for you.

If you think of something after your 24/7 urgent care virtual visit, you can call 844-284-0381 and ask to speak with a virtual health nurse. If you had a video visit with your own provider or submitted an e-visit to them, call their office to speak with your care team.
